Five California cities rank in top 10 hottest markets for real estate in August

In a preliminary analysis by Realtor.com, five California cities are moving off the market two percent more quickly than this time last year, and prices are hitting new record highs. Vallejo, Calif., remains number on the list for the fourth month in a row. San Francisco, Stockton, San Diego, and Sacramento round out the top 10.
